About the Ford F-150

There are plenty of reasons why the Ford F-150 is so incredibly popular. It is the defining American pickup truck, the yardstick that all other pickups measure themselves against. The F-150 stays ahead of the pack by constantly evolving, keeping a technological advantage over the competition. The F-150 pioneered turbocharged engines, aluminum bodies, hybrids, and even fully electric drivetrains in its segment. A lengthy list of trims and options makes it easy to configure the F-150 for work, off-roading, or towing your most prized possessions. The F-150 comes packed with the latest in technology, including driver’s aids to make driving, towing, and doing work with your F-150 a lot easier.

Powerful Performance

In keeping with Ford’s commitment to making the F-150 the most versatile truck on the market, a variety of different powertrains are offered. Whether you’re hauling building supplies or groceries, there is the right engine for the job, and when properly equipped, the F-150 has the best-in-class towing, payload, and horsepower rating. The class-exclusive hybrid drivetrain comes with 420 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque, with a staggering EPA-estimated range of 700 miles and a max towing capacity of 12,000 pounds. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8, a customer favorite, is available as well for those who crave the rumble and roar of this legendary engine. Whichever engine you select, the F-150 comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission that is excellent for towing and makes the F-150 more fuel-efficient than ever.

Reimagined Interior

Just because you need your Ford F-150 to tackle tough jobs, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be comfortable while you do it. The interior of the F-150 was designed to be just as versatile as the rest of the truck and it will make a huge variety of tasks much more comfortable. Thanks to the available Interior Work Surface, you can transform the F-150’s interior into an office. There’s even an option to fold the gear selector down into the center console while parked. While nobody’s first choice is to sleep in their truck, Ford understands that sometimes you have to and that’s why the F-150 has available Max Recline seats which fold almost entirely flat for a comfortable sleeping surface. For your listening pleasure, there is an available B&O® Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with 18 speakers including a subwoofer.

Cutting-Edge Technology

The F-150 is equipped with Ford’s latest infotainment system, SYNC® 4. This powerful system is accessed through either the standard 12-inch touchscreen display that features over-the-air software updates. Also accessible with this screen is Co-Pilot360™ 2.0 which keeps you up to date on potentially dangerous road conditions, thanks to on-demand real-time mapping. SYNC AppLink® lets you use apps like Waze and Ford+Alexa without connecting to Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™. Although both are still available if you prefer. Active Drive Assist gives you hands-free driving on more than 100,000 miles of divided highway in the US and Canada and Active Park Assist 2.0 will park your F-150 for you once you reach your destination.
